Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, country-pop musician and songwriter, when she was a character in the series One Tree Hill. She was Alex during its final three seasons. Kramer went to appear in the role of Portia Ranson on 90210 2008-2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 before joining the cast of the show on the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009. She signed a contract with Elektra Records during this time and released the country-rock song "I Won't Go Down" in an episode. She continued to act in movies like Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would attract her fan base. In October of 2015, Kramer dropped her debut album Thirty One from Warner Music Nashville. Alongside the Top Five country hit I Got the Boy as well as a duet featuring Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it was even more successful, landing at number three on the country album chart and number ten on the Billboard 200. The two-month stint on Dancing with the Stars 23rd season ended in her placing fourth. The same year, she was also a part of an adult-oriented hit song featuring"Feels Like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
